It is with the deepest regret and great sadness that we have to report the death of the Reverend Father William Shergold.
Better known to Members, Family, Friends and the world at large as 'Father Bill' or 'FARV', we will mourn his passing but rejoice in memories of him and the knowledge that he has moved on to a well deserved place in Heaven
Born in 1919, Father Bill passed away on Sunday 17th May 2009 at 2:00am
The funeral is to be held later this week in St Cuthberts Church
The 59 Club will be holding a memorial service for Father Bill at 12:00 noon on Saturday 12th September 2009
This will also be the 50th Anniversary of the 59 Club and will give everyone the opportunity to celebrate a wonderful legacy of a remarkable man.
The service will be held at:
St Martins-in-the Fields
Trafalgar Square
London
WC24 4JJ
Fr Scott Anderson will lead the service which will replicate the inaugural service celebrated by Fr William Shergold
This will be followed by a Blessing of Bikes
Please note that there will be a ride-out from The Ace Café to the service leaving at 10:30am
