Well now, what a surprise!
After another fine day here in London, when the sun was beating
down rather unexpectedly for a winter's day, and we had a visit
at the Club last night from a group of visitors from France.
They are over here to take part in a BMW Day at the Ace Cafe.
And a VERY nice range of 'bikes they were riding too.
Really nice to see machines that had been so lovingly and
carefully customised to suit their riders style and personality.
It was a shame they did not reach us until late in the evening
but we made them welcome and I think everyone had a good time.
We were able to tell them that there was another event scheduled to
take place today, and that is of course The Pioneer Run. The annual
ride of Veteran and Vintage motorcycles from the Epsom
Horserace Course just south of London to Brighton, a bustling seaside
resort on the south coast of England.
